The class of 1969 celebrated its 50th class reunion on Friday, August 9th, 2019, at the Buccinesse Club and Saturday, August 10th, 2019 at the Fiore Farm.

The event had a fantastic turnout with 135 classmates in attendance on Friday and 110 on Saturday. Alumni traveled from across the country to be there, coming from California, Arizona, Iowa, Alabama, Florida, Ohio and more.

It was an honor to have fellow classmate Fr. Robert Washco lead the group in Mass on Saturday at the Fiore Farm.

Another classmate, Pete Winklebauer, donated a beautiful painting he created which was raffled off to support the Class of 1969 Scholarship Fund. The fund was established three years ago to help provide financial aid to students and families in need. The painting raffle raised $1,000.

Principal Joan Donnelly made a surprise visit to our reunion to present a school spirit award to Linda Skupien, president of the Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic Alumni Association, in recognition of her many years of volunteering at BG, and with appreciation for all her hard work and her support of the school.

The Class of 1969 had 268 graduates, the largest class to graduate from Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School. Congratulations to the BG Class of 1969—wishing you many more celebrations in the years ahead!
